Director of Finance and Resources
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
Salary: circa £105k
Location: London

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSH Charity) changes the lives of seriously ill children who face the rarest, the most complex, and the toughest medical conditions that doctors can treat. As an organisation, GOSH Charity builds on a proud 168-year heritage of fundraising to support Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), an organisation at the very pinnacle of child health and global, pioneering research.

Every day, more than 600 children and young people will travel to GOSH from across the UK, to be treated by the widest range of paediatric specialists under one roof. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses and the brightest minds come together to achieve life-saving and life-changing medical breakthroughs. The hospital is a truly special place of world-class care.

GOSH Charity brings together the best of the charity sector, to raise vital funds for many of the things that make this extraordinary hospital world-class. The money the charity raises is spent on pioneering medical research to help diagnose, treat and even cure the most devastating of conditions; state-of-the-art equipment; child and family support services like accommodation so parents can stay just moments away from their child; and the country’s largest ever charitably funded hospital redevelopment programme, to transform and future-proof the physical environments that GOSH delivers pioneering treatments in.

This is a truly unique opportunity to join one of the best known, well-loved and most successful charities in the UK. An organisation with both an illustrious fundraising heritage and a forward thinking focus on innovation, voted a top 20 charity in 2019’s Sunday Times Best 100 Not-for-Profit Companies list.
