Reporting to the Deputy Chief Constable, the Chief Officer People & Organisational Development will fulfil a key corporate leadership role as a member of the senior team. The remit encompasses not only the full breadth of a large HR & OD portfolio, but also a range of additional enabling services. No two days will be the same – offering intellectual stretch and challenge in equal measure. There is a talented team to be led, supported and developed which, in turn, will support the Force through a period of sustained growth and increased productivity. This will demand innovative approaches to leadership development, inclusion and resource optimisation to ensure the Force remains focused on the needs of today with an eye to the demands of the future.
