The new Five Year Plan puts regeneration, development and asset management as key areas of focus for the organisation as it looks to grow and improve its portfolio. ‘The customer’ is at the core to this and as such a new Head of Repairs role has been introduced to lead the Repairs team in the delivery of an industry leading digitally enabled repairs function providing excellent customer satisfaction.

Peaks & Plains are looking for a disciplined, focused and driven professional who will ensure things get done through highly effective management and leadership.

The Role

The core elements of the role are below:

• Drive performance improvement including customer satisfactions, lead times and ‘right first time’

• Ensure optimum planning predictions to meet future customer/business needs

• Supporting the delivery and implementation of a new MS dynamics software system

• Development of the leadership capability across the teams

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have a track record in establishing and delivering on repairs and maintenance programmes through the effective management of in-house teams and a customer focused approach asset enhancement strategies thereby enhancing the value and quality of assets. Exposure to the social housing sector would be advantageous but they could have come from the contractor or client side.
